"There is a right time for everything:" with a friendship spanning 16 years, we've always made "time to laugh." (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4, TLB). Whenever I get together with this month's Vehicle of Compassion, we have a giggle fest! Our cross-country adventures have created special memories we can only discuss in the company of an elite group.
From a distance, I've watched her raise two beautiful daughters, pursue advanced degrees, and climb the Human Resources Management ladder.
Years ago, via a brief conversation with her youngest daughter, I learned she believes in Jesus (and was rearing her little girls to believe in God's omnipresence). While her family visited my home at 816 Jackson Street, Jefferson City, MO, I indicated I lived alone--just "me, myself and I" (pre-Beyonce's 2003 hit single). Looking up at me with angelic eyes and touching my hand, her baby girl assuredly stated: "You're not alone!"
With great enthusiam, I am pleased to renew the Vehicles of Compassion feature with the introduction of my friend/Road Dog/Angel, Belinda (Rucker) Little. I am confident that you will be encouraged and inspired as you read about the August 2015 Vehicle of Compassion, Ms. B.
Peace and Love You More...Malkia
