God met me more than halfway, he freed me from my anxious fears. Look at him; give him your warmest smile. Never hide your feelings from him. When I was desperate, I called out, and God got me out of a tight spot. God's angel sets up a circle of protection around us while we pray. (Psalm 34:4-7, MSG).
These are the facts (from my perspective):
- It's no secret, I share all of my feelings with You.
- It's been nearly 2 years and I'm still waiting for my win (http://www.fromhelltowin.com/2011/11/wait-for-win.html).
- I'm calling out to You in desperation because I need a way out now!
Dear God:
In order for me to get out of this tight spot, I need 1 of 3 things to happen immediately. Just 1 thing, LORD, so I can say life is good with sincerity! Use Your discretion and give me 1 thing to free me from my anxious fears. (Psalm 34:4, MSG). Thank you...AMEN.
These are the facts (from God's perspective):
- You look at Me because you know your help comes from Me. (Psalm 121:1-2, NIV).
- I meet you more than halfway because My thoughts and My ways are higher than yours. (Isaiah 55:9, CEV).
- I have delivered your soul from death, your eyes from tears, your feet from stumbling, that you may walk before Me in the land of the living. (Psalm 116:8-9, NIV).
- I know your life is challenging and you have many troubles, but I will deliver you from them all. (Psalm 34:19, NIV).
- My angel sets up a circle of protection around you while you pray. (Psalm 34:7, MSG).
- Remember the days of long ago; meditate on all My works and consider what My hands have done. (Psalm 143:5, NIV).
- Smile, life is abundant -- I have heard your cry for mercy; I accept your prayer. (Psalm 6:9, NIV).
Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? (Luke 12:25, NIV).
I know from life experience that challenges do not discriminate--every individual on planet Earth experiences challenges. The theme scripture for this 5-part blog series is Luke 12:25, NIV: Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? It is my hope that this series will inspire you to spend "a single hour" communicating with God.
